Not that I am happy or really doing well physically with this sinus infection and bronchitis thing I am trying to kick... but one thing was really great today. I watched the Dispatch: Zimbabwe benefit concert they did in NYC at Madison Square Garden. How do you make Dispatch more concert friendly? Add fifty children from Zimbabwe to the chorus and play a sold out benefit show (or three). It was heartwarming. Not sure if you can get it on DVD yet but it is worth looking for. There is or will be a box set too. You can check out some songs on Youtube, like Elias, which is a classic Dispatch song about a gardener from Zimbabwe.

maybe each star above us is what is left over from the entrance of an angel into the world
maybe solar radiation is the emotion of the universe
and maybe the earth is round for a reason
maybe somewhere out there a perfect circle exists, I just don't know
maybe you should hold my hand before I fall off the planet
that's just how I feel today
