About taking time off from work near your birthday: "Me, I take whatever Monday and Tuesday are off around my birthday and have a nice little holiday. Take care of the things you need to, treat yourself to something nice, go to bed whenever you please, and not worry about getting up on time the next day. It works well for me. Today I cleaned my car and put together the Christmas tree, caught a movie, and am finishing off the evening blogging in the best bar I know. My basement. The lighting is exactly the way I like it, the seats are comfortable, the pool table's free, it's completely empty, and Tom Waits is the only thing on the jukebox."
About Casino Royale: "It's an action movie. It won't change the world. But every time I see an action movie with an honest-to-god character arc, I wonder why this doesn't happen more often." link
