Dancing without moving
Walking through invisible walls
Shedding layers
And dreaming of ice-cycles
And chocolate eyeliner
On her fastidious lips
November is too long
Leaves and a metal rake
Colorful, in it's coldness
And zippers on handrails make clanging noises
They are filling the hole in the earth
On Guadalupe
With Pipes and useless things
I want my link to the depths of the earth
I want it intact...
I still want to be waiting for you
Walking through invisible walls
Shedding layers
And dreaming of ice-cycles
And chocolate eyeliner
On her fastidious lips
November is too long
Leaves and a metal rake
Colorful, in it's coldness
And zippers on handrails make clanging noises
They are filling the hole in the earth
On Guadalupe

I want my link to the depths of the earth
I want it intact...
I still want to be waiting for you

That first line reminded me of something, maybe not the same kind of dancing without moving you're talking about:
CLAIRE: My wiring has always been a little wonky. Like, for a long time I thought I wasn’t charged at all, and then the ends started poking out, where the bone rises under the skin, the top of my vertebrae, wrist hinge, errr…my skin is wearing down.
JANE: Is that right? How long has this been going on?
CLAIRE: What I really need is some new juice. My current is dirty, it’s so tired. It keeps going around and around, and it’s going to start eating my wires…
JANE: You’ve really got the wolf by the ears, huh, baby.
CLAIRE: Oh.
I can’t get anything to move.
JANE: Well, we’re from a house where nothing moves.
CLAIRE: I want to do that thing you and Hel can do, you get really still, like astral projection, you can dance without moving…
JANE: You only learn that from being in a straight jacket.
