A thought

Looks do matter. But we (as people, and possibly especially because of our culture and media) tend to think they are all that matters, and that isn't true. Looks are looks, personality is personality. We need both, but neither is ever everything. If you want to nurture yourself, excercise and take time for yourself to read or relax or have fun. Do it all. You deserve it.
I know that I worry about getting old and gaining wrinkles, etc, losing my hair, etc. But man (in the gender neutral sense), if it happens, there is not a whole lot I should do. Or can do (barring what is often radical surgery).
And really, I should think about how beautiful wrinkles are. They mean I have done a lot of smiling and laughing. And that means I am more beautiful. Just as my "beer belly" is also a record of a lot of happy memories with my friends. I would hate to give those up. Is it not a Buddha belly, allowing me to be more generous and happy with myself?
All my love to my friends, and cheers to the rest of you,
