Dear Friend,
Well, looks like it's time to pack again. I am surprised I have lived in Austin almost a full year now. Maybe it doesn't seem like just yesterday, but it also does not feel like a full year. Or maybe it seems like five years. I just know having a roommate will be nice. My need for autonomy is wearing off as I get older and know myself better. And the little things, like knowing where to get groceries (HEB or nowhere), where to see movies cheap (Highland 10) or with beer and nachos (Alamo Drafthouse), to where to eat (numerous places, all over, as often as possible), all add up to a confident feeling living on my own. Now to have more fun though, live closer to campus, and still work on the career stuff. But for now, packing and more packing, and then unpacking. Wish me luck.
