Dear friend,
I decided to post something serious on my first day. I've always saved notable quotes and things I thought were funny or that impacted me in text files or in a paper-and-pencil journal (which I actually just started recently too). And I figured, why keep it all to myself. Feel free to contact me if you have a comment or if you want to send me hate mail. You know that no one can stop you. Feel free. Oh, and speaking of freedom, the Patriot Act is a bad bad idea.

I am a graduate student who currently lives in Austin, Texas. Like many in my position, I am good at wasting time, procrastinating, and the like.

I have been blogging since 2003.
